PriceDropCatch is a free Chrome extension that automatically tracks product prices on your favourite online stores. When you're browsing a product page, simply click "Track Price" to start monitoring it. The extension checks the price in the background and sends you a browser notification the moment it drops.
Yes, 100% free. No subscription, no sign-up, no hidden fees. PriceDropCatch is a passion project with no monetisation.
PriceDropCatch works on any Chromium-based browser, including:
Firefox support is not currently available.
The extension currently supports: Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Best Buy, Newegg, Apple, Etsy, and Wayfair.
We're always working to add more stores. Send us a request if you'd like to see a specific retailer added.
Navigate to any product page on a supported store. A "Track Price" button will appear on the page (usually near the price or "Add to Cart" button). Click it, and the product will be added to your tracking list. You can view all tracked products by clicking the extension icon in your toolbar.
By default, prices are checked every 60 minutes in the background. The check interval can be adjusted in the extension settings. Prices are also refreshed whenever you open the extension popup.
For each tracked product, you can set an alert price — the maximum price you're willing to pay. When the detected price falls to or below that threshold, you'll receive a Chrome browser notification.
To set an alert, click the bell icon (or "Alert at $—") on any product card in the popup and enter your target price.
The button only appears on individual product pages of supported stores — it won't appear on category, search results, or home pages. If you're on a product page and the button doesn't appear:

Currently, no. The extension uses chrome.storage.local which stores data only on the current device. Cross-device sync is on our roadmap for a future release.
