Public price history & drop alerts

Prices are crowdsourced from real extension users browsing the retailer's site, so they reflect the actual price someone saw at that moment — not a stale scrape. The trade-off is that observations only happen when a user has the product page open, so a product with few trackers may have gaps. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's site before buying.

Each product gets re-checked roughly every few hours while at least one user has it tracked. The Live price changes feed above shows the most recent updates across all stores; individual product pages show the full history with timestamps.

Install the free extension, open any product page on a supported retailer (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, eBay, and 30 more), and click Track price. Your anonymized observations start contributing to the public history immediately — and you'll get a personal alert when the price drops.

By default, no. An account is optional — PriceDropCatch works fully without one, and price observations are always submitted anonymously. We only store an email address if you opt in to email alerts or choose to create an optional account to sync your tracked products across devices (sign-in is by one-time email link, no password). You can opt out of contributing to the public dataset at any time in extension settings. See our privacy policy for the full details.
